First Diagnosis of NCA e-Services
The National Cadastral Agency (NCA) hosted the first mission of Component 3 of the NCA-BY-18 Twinning Project during the week of 8-12 July, 2019.
The mission was led by Spanish experts Ignacio García and Miguel Ancochea.
The objective of the first mission of Activity A3.1.1 is to diagnose the NCA’s current situation in the field of spatial data e-services. This study will provide relevant information on the current catalogue of e-services developed and published by the NCA as well as short- and medium-term plans for the development and publication of geospatial electronic services.
On the first day, the experts presented the methodology to be used while executing Component 3 missions.
In order to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the current IT situation at the NCA, the experts conducted interviews with relevant members of the NCA staff.
They reviewed the internal organization, human resources, outsourcing and procurement practices, effective geospatial e-services, with a special focus on the internal architecture of applications and the associated flow of information between them. Intensive but rewarding work.
The enthusiastic participation of the NCA IT team, led by the C3 Component Leader Mr. Pavel Drazdou, and their open spirit has been the key to substantial progress in achieving the objectives planned.
